Prayer Points: February 25, 2018

Sunday, (Feb 25) – Praise God for the life of Rev Billy Graham who led countless people to place their trust in Jesus, and who was faithful right to the end. Pray that we will inspired by his life to be faithful to the end of our lives. Pray that God will strengthen us from the inside out and enable us through the power of His Holy Spirit to run with endurance the race He has marked out for each of us. Pray that He will give us the mind of Christ and protect us from the lies of the evil one who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking to discourage and derail us from the path He has purposed for us. Pray that when we feel like giving up, God will fill us with His Hope and point us to His Truth. Praise God that with Him nothing is impossible, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Monday, (Feb 26) – The Cell Leaders will be having a dinner cum meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Pray for good attendance from the Cell Leaders that they will be able to come for this first meeting of the year. Pray for good fellowship and bonding between them. Pray that the Cell Leaders will abide in Christ, and serve Him out of the fullness of their relationship with Him. Pray for God’s empowering upon them as they lead their Cell Members. Pray for God’s protection upon all the Cell Leaders and their family members. Pray also that the Cell Members will support their Cell Leaders with prayers and words of encouragement.

Tuesday, (Feb 27) – Pray for the Nation: Pray that God will have mercy upon Malaysia, forgive the sins of our nation and save our land. Pray that He will turn the nation around in the coming GE14 and let justice and righteousness roll on like a river and a never-failing stream. Pray that all the churches in the nation will step up their intercessions even as the election is approaching fast. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide us in our prayers so they will be line with God’s purposes for our nation.

Wednesday, (Feb 28) – Pray for the seminar The Work Of The Holy Spirit conducted by Bishop Emeritus Dr Hwa Yung that will be held on March 10, 2018. Pray for a good response from our church members that many will come with open hearts and minds to learn more about the third Person of the Trinity. Pray for journey mercies and good health for Dr Hwa Yung. Pray that he will be sensitive to what the Lord wants him to share, and that he will speak with boldness. Pray that as we open ourselves to the Holy Spirit, many of us will experience a spiritual breakthrough in our lives.

Thursday, (Mar 1) – The 21-Day Prayer Meetings will begin on March 12, 2018. Pray that as the Holy Spirit convicts the hearts of our members, many of them will respond to Him and make an effort to come to worship and pray. As the prayer meetings will be held on Sundays before the Worship Service at 7am, in the mornings (March 12-17 & 19-21 at 6am), and in the nights (March 22-24 & 26-28 at 8pm), pray that the people will come for some (if not all) of the prayer meetings that we may draw near to God and intercede for needs as a church.

Friday, (Mar 2) – Pray for TRAC: Pray for TRAC pastors’ children who are studying away from home. Pray that God will watch over them and protect them always. Pray that they will be connected to good and strong Christian friends in their own locations. Pray that they will succeed in the respective courses they are studying. Pray that this new experience of being away from home will be rewarding in all ways. Pray that their fire for the Lord will continue to burn brightly.

Saturday, (Mar 3) – Pray for the World: In Indonesia, 2017 had been quite a challenge with many religious tensions splitting the community. Pray for the church to make the first step to reconcile. Pray also for young people who could be vulnerable to being recruited for the Islamic State. Pray they will come to know Jesus and hold on to Him. Pray that God will continue to protect His church in Indonesia
