Sunday, (June 18)– Pray for fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers and fatherhood in our land. Praise God for the men who are leading according to His statutes and the ones that are laying their lives down for His purposes. Pray that the Lord will continue to use these men to lead their families. Pray that God will guide them to be good role models and help them to be a father like He is – patient, loving, forgiving and having their priorities in the right place. Pray that God will strengthen the fathers of our nation and that He will continue to empower churches, organizations, and individuals to invest in fathers and fatherhood for the sake of our children.
Monday, (June 19) – Pray for the World: In the last 2 weeks, Britain has undergone 2 terrorist attacks and the latest was a fire that gutted a high-rise residential block that left at least 17 people dead, many critically injured and many others missing. Pray for God’s comfort, strength and grace upon the families of those affected by these tragic events. Pray that the churches and Christians in London will come together to offer support and hope to the victims. Pray that the people will turn to God for answers during this difficult time.
Tuesday, (June 20) – The Youth Camp 2017 will be held in Sepang from Saturday to Monday, June 24-26, 2017. Praise God for the participants (about 60) who have signed up and pray that all will be able to go for the camp. Pray for journey mercies and God’s protection and safety for all of them. Pray for good health for everyone and that there be no distractions of any kind during the camp. Pray for God’s anointing upon the speaker, Mr Jonathan Chan, that God will use him to impact the youths and that they will experience renewal and revival spiritually. Pray for God’s wisdom upon the camp committee as it looks into last minute details to ensure that everything will run smoothly.
Wednesday (June 21) – Pray for the Nation: In the last 2 weeks, 2 young men (late teens and early 20’s) died as a result of being bullied and assaulted by their peers. Pray against the spirit of violence that is rising among the next generation. As a main contributing factor is the lack of parental control, pray that parents will be good role models, will strengthen their relationship with their children, and increase the level of parental monitoring. Pray that more serious and drastic actions will be taken by the authorities to curb the poisonous culture of school bullies and gangsterism among the youths in our nation.
Thursday, (June 22) – Pray for the Church Camp 2017. Pray for wisdom and teamwork for the organizing committee as it finalizes the following: Morning Devotions, Question & Answer Workshop, Games, physical arrangements and meals. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance on the various worship teams as they prepare for the times of worship in the camp. Continue to pray for the Camp Speaker, Dato Dr Daniel Ho, for God’s anointing upon the teaching sessions. Pray for journey mercies and safety for everyone, especially the children.
Friday, (June 23) – Pray for TRAC: Pray for the probationary pastors in TRAC. These are pastors in their first four years of ministry. Each year, in June, they will be evaluated by their local PPRCs and a standard report submitted to the Board of Ministry. Pray that these new ministers will be assessed fairly. Pray for humble hearts among the new pastors and the PPRC in their churches. Pray that issues can be openly discussed and all done in the spirit of love. Pray also that the Lord will provide more pastors in TRAC in the future especially from among the younger generation.
Saturday, (June 24) – Pray that God will pour upon our church members a desire and hunger for His Word so we will be able get to know the Lord better and deepen our love for Him. Pray that our members will commit themselves to attend the Walk Through The Old Testament Seminar that will be held in our church from July 14-16, 2017 despite their busy schedules. Pray that Christians from other churches will also sign up for the seminar.
