Sunday, (Oct 1) – Praise God for the heritage and gift of children with which He has blessed our church. Pray that He will keep our children on the right path, and prevent them from getting sucked into the way of the world and the philosophies of this age. Even as God has entrusted these children to us (parents and those in the children’s ministry), pray that we will raise and nurture them into the ways of the Lord, that God will grant us wisdom to know how to correct and teach our children, and grace to guide them into the way of truth and love. Pray that our children will grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and develop into mighty men and women of God, and in their turn they may bring up their own children to love and serve God in spirit and truth.
