Sunday, (Apr 7) – Praise God for including each of us in His family. Pray that He will help us to see those in church as fellow siblings and children of God in the Kingdom of God. Pray that we will always be accountable to one another, and never demean one another, but always encourage each other in the times of blessing and of trials. Pray that we will love one another without prejudice or biasness. Pray that we will be ready and willing to love the unlovable and to consent to be loved by others we would likely dismiss. Pray for those in conflict that they will not five the devil a foothold in those lives, but that they will come together in Jesus name to resolve any conflicts between them.
Monday, (Apr 8) – Praise God for the Youth Camp that was held last week, and that the youths had a fruitful time, having fun and l earning from God’s Word. Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to do a deep work in their lives, and that prayer, reading God’s Word, and private worship will be important to them. Pray they will have such awesome encounters with Jesus that it will lead to them to want more of Him. As we enter into the second week of our 21-Day Prayer Meetings, praise God for those who have been coming faithfully. Pray that God will stir, soften and convict more hearts to see and understand the need for prayer, and our responsibility to stand in the gap for our church and the nation.
Tuesday, (Apr 9) – Pray for the Revival Seminar that will be held this Friday and Saturday (April 12 &13, 2019). Pray that people will respond to God’s call for revival, and the seminar will be well attended. Pray for God’s anointing upon the speaker, Rev Terence Poh, that he will be sensitive and discerning to the Holy Spirit’s leading, and be a channel for God to minister to His people. Pray that God will pour out His Holy Spirit like a mighty flood into the hearts and minds of the people and birth spiritual awakening in their lives. Pray that the seminar will bring life and nourishment, preservation and restoration to His people in Klang Wesley.
Wednesday, (Apr 10) – Pray for the Nation: Even as the trial for the ex-Prime Minister began last Wednesday, April 3, 2019, pray that there will be no further delays and the trial will proceed as scheduled. Pray for God’s protection upon the Attorney General & his team, and also for the presiding High Court judge. Suhakam announced that both Amri Che Mat and Raymond Koh were victims of enforced disappearances, with evidence pointing to Bukit Aman as the culprit. Pray that in both cases, the truth will prevail, and justice will be served to those who are guilty.
Thursday, (Apr 11) – Pray for the Sunday School Pre-Easter Party (Sunday, April 14, 2019) that the children will come not only to have fun, but to remember the Resurrection of Jesus that gives eternal life to them. Pray that all plans will flow smoothly: that the simple message and activity will teach the children the true meaning of Easter; that the planting and pot decorating activity to go off well. Pray that pre-believing children and their parents will come for the party, and that everyone will have a good and meaningful time.
Friday, (Apr 12) – Pray for the Methodist Church: Praise God for the Methodist Pastors’ School held last week (April 2-4, 2019) where 530 Methodist pastors from Peninsula and East Malaysia attended. Pray that all the pastors will have had a personal encounter with Christ, that they be refreshed and be filled with a new passion for the Lord. Pray that there will be a spiritual revival in the Methodist Church in Malaysia, and all the churches will thrive under the power of the Holy Spirit and be relevant and significant in the era of the new Malaysia.
Saturday, (Apr 13) – Pray for the believers in India. Persecution is higher for Christians in rural and tribal areas. Pray that they will be bold in sharing the Gospel despite great suffering. Pray that churches in Southern India will continue finding ways to meet despite some worship services being disrupted by extremists. Pray that God will grant them His grace so they will continue to persevere in their faith and not give up
