Sunday, (Aug 4) – Pray that God will forgive us for all of the times we have put our trust wholly in this world’s “princes”, other people or in ourselves and our own abilities. Pray that we will recognize that God alone has the power to help and the power to save, and that we will always put our trust and hope in Him alone. Ask the Lord to forgive us for all the times we have failed to praise Him for His greatness and His grace. Praise and thank Him that we are His children and the work of His hands, and pray that we will daily raise our hearts and voices to praise Him for His love and faithfulness to us.
