Sunday, (Mar 20) – Pray that we would take God’s invitation to come to Him seriously. Pray that we would be able to catch God’s vision for our lives; our families and our church. Pray for a stronger desire to walk in step with Jesus in all that we do. Pray for strength as we persevere in God’s kingdom work. Pray that each one us will have a personal call to serve in specific areas of God’s various ministries in the church.
Monday, (Mar 21) – Pray for the Church Worship & Music Ministry – Pray for God’s guidance to be upon Sister Hilda as she leads the Worship & Music Ministry of our church. Pray for all worship enablers to have a closer walk with God. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance to be upon all of them in their weekly preparations. Pray that our worship enablers will serve not with their own strength but out of the strength and anointing that comes from God.
Tuesday, (Mar 22) – Pray for divine opportunities and encounters for long-lost acquaintances, acts of compassion in reconnecting with them, and sharing the good news of salvation. Pray for an intentional spirit of loving and putting others above ourselves, as well as compassion for their souls, which can be nourished by God’s words. Pray for encounters for healing and strength in the face of daily challenges and trials as well as God’s mercy to pull them through and totally restore them, especially those suffering from long covid symptoms. Pray for patience and strength for all caregivers who are fatigued, burned out, or stress from caring for the sick.
Wednesday, (Mar 23) – Pray for the Nation: Pray that our prime minister to have the discerning wisdom in calling the right timing for the 15th General Election (GE15), allowing the pandemic situation to stabilise and not succumbing to pressure from some political parties to hold it soon. Please pray for sufficient funds to be granted to our Ministry of Health to meet the chronic under-investment in the nation’s public healthcare system as stated by Minister of Health, Khairy Jamaluddin. Pray for rapid acceleration of covid-19 booster jabs among senior citizens age above 60 in order to reduce the rising number of deaths in this age group.
Thursday, (Mar 24) – Pray for TRAC: Pray for more participations among the TRAC Churches during the MCM Monthly Prayer Gatherings. Although churches come together to pray virtually, we pray for the Lord’s presence to bring the churches together in unity. Pray for our TRAC Churches to come before with repentance in their hearts for the Lord says that “if my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land”.
Friday, (Mar 25) – Pray for children, who begin or restart schools this week. In the midst of high covid 19 infections, pray for God’s protection to be upon them. Pray for God’s direction to be upon schools so that they may work together with local public health authorities to put in place the required health measures. Pray for good communication and collaboration between schools and families so that children can learn in a safer atmosphere. Continue to pray for the seamless vaccination schedule for children with no or little side effects following vaccination. Pray against the clusters. May God’s peace be with the children’s parents and guardians. Continue to pray for students who are taking SPM exams or other exams.
Saturday (Mar 26) – Pray for the World: Pray for China as they fight against the recent surge of covid-19 infections, which has resulted in the lockdowns and business shutdown in various cities. Pray for the sufficient medical professionals and facilities, as well as for speedy vaccination, especially for the elderly. Pray for God’s protection and healing to be upon the people, as they also have been under mass testing and movement restrictions. Pray that the business shutdown will not disrupt the delivery of essential supplies.
