Sunday, (Apr 17) – Christ is Risen today! Indeed He is Risen! – Let us give thanks to God for our Savior Jesus. Pray that each one of us will have a fresh and personal encounter with our Risen Lord. Pray that as we have received His complete forgiveness, we will go forth to live a life that is worthy of all that Christ has done for us. Pray for a transformation to happen in our lives so that we may become more and more like Christ. Pray that we will be able to bring forth the hope that we have in Christ to the people we meet daily.
Monday, (Apr 18) – Pray for the Church – In-House Church Camp – Pray for a smooth running of the camp. Pray for God’s anointing to be upon our speaker, Ps. Dr. Philip Lyn as he prepares to speak to us. Pray for all physical preparation for the camp to go on well. Pray for good participation from our people and that no one will be hindered to come for this camp. Pray that this camp would be a good opportunity for us to reconnect with one another.
Tuesday, (Apr 19) – Pray for the church to rise up and fulfil Christ’s command to love one another. Pray that God will transform our obedience hearts, increasing our capacity to love one another unconditionally as Jesus does, even those who are difficult to love and of different faiths. Pray for the church to be more intentional and diligent in serving others, as Christ demonstrated through his loving service of footwashing and loving sacrifice act on the cross.
Wednesday, (Apr 20) – Pray for the Nation: Pray for political stability in restoring foreign investors’ confidence in reinvesting in our nation, which has been negatively impacted by the pandemic onslaught, by establishing clear, fair, and friendly economic policies and reassessing FDI strategy and priority growth sectors. Pray for political stability to serve the nation’s interests and to prevent any potential fragmentation that would lead to disunity and disharmony in the country. Pray for the deferred anti-hopping laws to be tabled in Parliament, which will ensure elected politicians of integrity and altruism for the sake of the nation.
Thursday, (Apr 21) – TRAC Pastors School – Pray for all TRAC Pastors who would be attending the TRAC Pastors School from the 19th – 22nd of April 2022. Pray for journey mercies as all pastors travelling to Taiping. Pray for pastors to have a good and blessed time of re-connecting with God and one-another. Pray for opportunities whereby fellow pastors may encourage, edify and minister to one another.
Friday, (Apr 22) – Pray for HOPE Methodist Vocational Centre, as they reach out to the Jehai people group in Tasik Temenggor. Pray for God’s protection and wisdom for the team (including brother Jesse Teh), for unity, and for their dependence on God for guidance and provision. Pray that God will bless and open doors for this ministry, so that they can reach out to children and pre-believers through education, visitation and discipleship, for His glory. Thank God that they have kicked off their free-range chicken course as an economic empowerment training. Pray for the students’ attendance and learning spirits to acquire the skills. Pray for God’s protection upon the villages from Covid-19.
Saturday (Apr 23) – Pray for the World: Pray for the Philippines, which has been recently hit by the tropical storm Megi, which caused flooding and landslides, as well as for South Africa, which has been hit by heavy rains and floods. Pray for God’s comfort and healing to be upon the nations as they mourn the painful loss and damage. Pray for the stable weather and clear visibility for the rescue and search efforts, as well as the necessary reconstruction. Pray for God’s healing to be upon those who have been injured or traumatised by the disaster. Pray for the safe shelter for those who have been evacuated, with the distribution of basic necessities.
