Sunday, ( May 29) – James 1: 12 says, “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because when he had stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” Pray that God would enable us to persevere under trials. Pray that God’s grace will indeed be sufficient for each one of us as we entrust into His hands the struggles that we face in our lives. Pray that we fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith and that our faith in Jesus may not be shaken by any circumstances.

Monday, (May 30)Youth & Sunday School Ministries – Both the Youth & Sunday School Ministries have resumed in-person meetings in church. Pray that as our youths and children come back together, they may re-connect with one another well. Pray that God would once again instill the hearts of our younger generation a desire and a passion to seek after God’s heart. Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance be upon our youth counselors and our Sunday School teachers as they strive to point our younger generation to Christ. Pray that God would raise up more people who would be able to journey with our youths.

Tuesday, (May 31) – Pray for the youth globally that God would give them passion and a deep-seated purpose for living regardless of their circumstances (Jer. 29:11; Rom. 8:28-29). Pray that their thoughts continue to be transformed in Christ and that they will be an example to the world in their words, lifestyles, love, faith, and purity (1 Tim. 4:12). Pray that God to provide the youth with the ability to love, respect, and honour their parents, teachers, spiritual leaders, and governmental authorities (Eph. 6:2-3).

Wednesday, (Jun 1)Pray for the Nation: Pray for an end to the current surge in hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) clusters, particularly among children aged six and under in nurseries, kindergartens, and day-care centres. Pray for all parties concerned, such as the state health agency, businesses, and child caregivers, to take extra measures by keeping the premises, floors, restrooms, and equipment used by children clean. Pray for the children who have been affected with this disease to recover quickly. Pray also for a reduction in the recent increase in the number of dengue cases through increased dengue surveillance, social and community mobilisation toward preventative activities, and responsiveness in controlling the dengue outbreak.

Thursday, (Jun 2)TRAC: Pray for the upcoming TRAC Worship Ministry Leaders’ Retreat: Renewed Through Worship that would be held on 4-6 June 2022. Pray that the Lord will renew the hearts of all those who would be attending the retreat. Pray for good participation by all TRAC Churches.

Friday, (Jun 3) – Pray for Rev. Gaurri, as she has begun her three-month sabbatical. Pray that she will have a blessed Sabbath rest, the time for renewing her soul in God, the time to reconnect with God intimately. Pray that she will also have a good time with her family and friends. Pray that God’s presence, protection and guidance to be upon her and family in all she is engaged throughout the three months. Pray that the church will continue to serve God and His people in unity and obedience during the three months under the lordship of our Lord Jesus, the Good Shepherd, on whom we wholly depend.

Saturday (Jun 4)Pray for the World: Pray for God’s comfort to be upon the families who have lost their loved ones in the Texas elementary school shooting. Pray for His healing to be upon the survivors who have witnessed and suffered such a traumatic incident. Pray for God’s direction to be upon the leaders to take serious action on gun control, working with local police and authorities to ensure the safety of the people in each town. Pray that the hearts of the leaders and people turn to the LORD, that they find true security, peace and freedom in Him alone.
