Prayer List: 23rd – 24th July 2022

Sunday, (Jul 24) – Pray against the peril of familiarity with Scripture that has prevented us from seeing the amazing truth hidden beneath God’s word. Pray that we would follow Jesus unreservedly since He is the truth of God’s Word and the only truth, being divinity itself and clothed in absolute and righteous authority. Pray that as Jesus shines his light into our lives, the truth will convince our hearts and that we will see the urgency to walk intimately with Christ to be transformed into His image.

Monday, (Jul 25)Pray for the Cell Group Ministry – Pray that the Spirit of God is at work in each group to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus, bearing the fruit of the Spirit. Pray that God will empower the leaders with encouragement and wisdom. Pray for unity and a spirit of forgiveness and humility in a group, with the same mindset as our Lord Jesus. Pray for God’s grace that each group will become a safe place where members encourage each other, learn from and admonish one another in love and care. Pray that more people will join a group, and cell groups will be mobilized to reach out to the community by God’s grace.

Pray for the provision and guidance of the Holy Spirit’s power and strength in facing their sufferings and grace in restoring them fully.
