Scripture Text: Matthew 15: 21 – 28
Introduction
In today’s text we meet a Canaanite woman whose faith was great. She had a faith that was relentless.
Explanation
- Jesus intentionally walks into the Gentile territory bringing hope to the Gentiles.
- The Canaanite woman who recognises Jesus as the Messiah pleads for mercy. She comes to Jesus with humility not entitlement.
- The Canaanite woman perseveres through in faith. She refuses to be discouraged.
Final Word
A great faith is a faith that is severely tested. So, don’t give up.
