Scripture Text: Matthew 24: 36 – 51
Introduction
Advent is a season that reminds us of the wait; it is a season that calls us to prepare; it is a season whereby we anticipate the second coming of Jesus.
Explanation
* The day of Jesus’ return will come upon us suddenly and unexpectedly.
* Therefore, Jesus calls us to be watchful.
* We are to be watchful by faithfully doing all that Jesus has entrusted into our hands.
Final Word
We have a choice – we either choose to be wise and faithful or we choose to be negligent. What is your choice?

1. Am I ready? Am I prepared to meet Jesus when He comes again? Explain your answer.
