Sermon Title: The Blood of Christ Changes Everything
Scripture Text: Hebrews 9: 1 – 14
Introduction
God dwelt among the people but access to His presence was carefully restricted. God is Holy and sinners cannot simply walk into His presence.
Explanation
- Sin cannot be in the presence of our Holy God because it is dangerous.
- God instructed Moses to build the tabernacle so that God may come and dwell with His people.
- The earthly tabernacle is carefully designed by God and it is filled with symbolism.
- The blood of Jesus is powerful because it changes everything.
Final Word
We are saved by faith and having saved by faith, we are called to serve Him.
Reflection Question
- As we do some self-reflection, do we have stubbornness and rebelliousness in us?
- As we do some self-reflection, what unintentional sins have we committed? Ask the Lord to reveal it to you.
- Is Jesus’s blood sufficient for you? Are you convinced that that you have Jesus’s complete forgiveness?
