2. How does the divine mirror also act like a mirror revealing who we really are? Why is this important for us to repent and grow in faith?

Temptations are internal. It has to do with inner seduction and struggles.

Explanation

Ø The source of our temptations is not God. We fall into temptation when we are dragged away and enticed by our own desires.

Ø God is the giver of every good and perfect gift.

Ø God choose to bring about transformation in our lives through the word of truth.

Final Word

Let us trust that God will give us the strength we need to resist the temptations of our lives.

Reflection Question

1. Examine the desires of your heart, are they according to the will of God? If not, how can you resist those desires?

2. How can we grow in our trust in God that He is the giver of every good and perfect gift?

3. Are we willing to allow the Word of God to bring about a transformation in our hearts? How can we continue to dwell in the Word of God?
