Introduction
Jochebed was a mother who had great courage.
“Courage is doing what you’re afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you are scared” – Eddie Rickenbacker

Explanation
1. Fear did not paralyze Jochebed. Fear made her do something about it.

2. It was faith in God that enabled Jochebed to act courageously.

3. Jochebed’s courage enabled her to spend significant time to nurture baby Moses.

Final Word
Mothers are courageous people.
