Scripture Text: Colossians 3: 12 – 17
Introduction
Paul exhorts the believers in Colosse to put on a new set of behaviour or virtues that is consistent with their identity as God’s people.
Explanation
1) We are a people belonging to God because of what Jesus has done for us. We are holy, without blemish and free of accusation.
2) As people belonging to God, we are to cloth ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
3) As people belonging to God, we are to let the peace of Christ to rule our hearts, the Word of Christ to dwell in our hearts and we are called to be thankful.
Final Word
Let our lifestyle be filled with the virtues of Christlikeness

1) Think about how your life was before you met Jesus? How has your life changed with Jesus?
2) What are some vices that you need to intentionally put to death? Ask the Lord to help you.
3) How is your bible reading? Do you allow the word of Christ to dwell in your heart?

Introduction
Having believed all that Jesus has accomplished for us, how would we now live our lives?
Explanation
1) We live our lives as living sacrifices to God.
2) We live our lives as living sacrifices in view of God’s mercy.
3) We live our lives as living sacrifices by the renewing of our mind.
Final Word
Be a living sacrifice in your daily life.
