Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the Holy Scriptures,
the many truths they teach us;
and the lessons we can learn
from them in our daily lives.
We pray that like Abraham,
our faith will not fail –
but grow and develop
so that we may trust You
in all the circumstances of life,
even when they contradict our logic
and seem to dictate the opposite.
Thank You Lord that we are able to learn
from Abraham but above all thank You
for Your faithfulness in our lives.
You were faithful in the past;
You are faithful in the present and
we know that You will continue to
be faithful in the future.
