Sunday, (Apr 3) – God’s promises are sure and steadfast. Pray that we will grow in our ability to trust God in every aspect of our lives. Pray that we will experience and know God for who He is to us. Pray that God in His mercy and grace will help us overcome any unbelief we may have in our hearts. Pray for God’s grace to enable us to remove any hurdles that prevents us from completely trusting in God’s promises. Pray that no matter what we go through in life, we may cling tightly to the promises of God which are sure and steadfast.
Monday, (Apr 4) – Pray for the Church – Baptism & Reception into Membership – This will take place on the 10th of April 2022. Pray for all who would be baptized. Pray that God will continue to work in the hearts of these new believers as they make a commitment to follow Jesus. Pray for their lives to be transformed to be more like Christ in all that they do. Pray that the church be reminded of her own salvation as she witnesses the baptism. Pray also that church will embrace all those who would be brought into membership as one family in Christ.
Tuesday, (Apr 5) – Pray for courage, confidence, and obedience as a disciple of Jesus Christ to be faithful, obedient, and courageous in proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples of all nations as God works towards consummating His mission of salvation. Pray for wisdom and strength to be prepared for new challenges arising such as social schism and increased pandemic risk infections as we embrace life in the endemic phase. Pray that the church will remain strong and connected to one another regardless of denominations in order to be a true caring and loving agent of transformation in the community.
Wednesday, (Apr 6) – Pray for the Nation: Pray for God’s grace and mercy on our nation in order to avert more instability and potential fragmentation in the run-up to the GE15. Pray for the rakyat to adjust well to their new normality lifestyle by adhering to SOPs including the mask requirement as the nation entered the ‘Transition to Endemic’ Phase with the reopening of the country’s borders. Pray that recent worries about data breaches involving personal information from the MySejahtera app be resolved, as well as enhanced cyber security and worrisome phishing cases.
Thursday, (Apr 7) – TRAC Pastors School – Pray for all TRAC Pastors who would be attending the TRAC Pastors School from the 19th – 22nd of April 2022. Pray for journey mercies as all pastors traveling to Taiping. Pray for pastors to have a good and blessed time of re-connecting with God and one-another. Pray for opportunities whereby fellow pastors may encourage, edify and minister to one another.
Friday, (Apr 8) – During this monsoon transition, which is expected to last through mid-May, pray for God’s protection upon everyone, especially those who live near low-lying areas and rivers. Pray for God’s guidance to be upon authorities so that they can provide necessary advice in advance and take adequate mitigation measures. Pray for God’s wisdom to be upon people so that they will follow authorities’ advice and be vigilant, as the country may experience thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong winds in a short time. Pray for God’s protection from flash floods.
Saturday (Apr 9) – Pray for the World: Continue to pray for Ukraine and Russia and the implications that the war has brought to the rest of the world. Pray that God will humble the Russian leaders’ hearts and guide them to make right decisions for their people and the rest of the world. Pray for God’s healing and comfort to be upon those who have been wounded, those who have lost their loved ones and homes, and those who have been forced to live under tremendous fear and tension. Pray for God’s wisdom and humility to be upon world leaders that they will act in the interests of world peace and justice, rather than their own agendas. Pray that God will reign over the lives of all people and nations, that we recognize that we are created in His image and that we are not to rule over one another but to love one another and live in peace.
