Sunday, (Feb 13) – Pray that we as a church will long for the presence of God. Pray that we will look to God for strength as we face our daily challenges. Pray for a renewal of heart to take place so that we may be more passionate for the Lord. Pray that God will renew us with His love and may His grace be sufficient for us as we live as disciples of our Lord Jesus.
Monday, (Feb 14) – Pray for the Church: Pray for the young adults of our church. Pray for God’s guidance to be upon them as they pursue their respective paths of their career. Pray that our younger generation will learn to place God as their priority in life. Pray that in all that they do and speak, they will seek to honor God. Pray also for young families in our church. Pray that young families will grow in the Lord and they will put Christ in the center of their family.
Tuesday, (Feb 15) – Pray for God’s protection over our families, friends, communities and nations as global cases of Omicron and other emerging variants have risen in recent weeks. Pray for God’s wisdom, strength and power to be present in us at all times as we face the challenges and struggles that lie ahead. Pray for discernment and insight beyond our years, so that we can grasp God’s will, hear His voice, and know His ways. Pray that God will give us abilities beyond what we think we have, and allow our gifts to flow freely through us so that our lives may honour him and others are drawn to him.
Wednesday, (Feb 16) – Pray for the Nation: Pray for God’s wisdom and strength to be with our healthcare minister, D-G, and his team in halting the spread of highly transmissible Omicron virus and ensuring the hospital’s occupancy is not overburdened. Please pray for our healthcare personnel and frontline employees to be resilient and gracious. Pray for individuals who have been infected with this variant to recover speedily. Pray for the upcoming Johor state election that the rightly elected candidate to govern with justice, fairness, and integrity for the sake of the Johoreans’ well-being and interests.
Thursday, (Feb 17) – Pray for TRAC: Commit to the Lord the upcoming First District Conference of CD2 that will take place on Thursday (17th Feb). Pray that as each church in the district presents their respective reports, we would be able to see and discern God’s movement in our District. Pray that we will learn to be on the look-out for any needs among the churches within the District and pray that God will move our hearts to help. Commit to the Lord our CD2 District Superintendent, Rev. Paul Christie. Pray for the Lord’s anointing and guidance to be upon him as he leads the District.
Friday, (Feb 18) – 5th Anniversary Vigil for Raymond Koh: Pastor Raymond Koh was abducted and disappeared on the 13th of February 2017. Each year, on the anniversary of that date, family and friends of Raymond Koh will gather to remind the world of his disappearance. This also includes the disappearance of Amri Che Mat, Joshua & Ruth Hilmy. Pray for the truth to be revealed regarding their disappearance. Remember their family in prayer as well.
Saturday (Feb 19) – Pray for the World. Pray for Afghanistan. Pray for God’s protection upon people who remain in the country, especially the weak and vulnerable, such as children and the elderly. Pray for God’s intervention and wisdom upon WHO, the country’s leaders as well as international communities so that aid can reach to the needy in the midst of the health and humanitarian crisis in this country, and so that the country can be rebuilt. Pray for peace and justice, human rights, economic recovery, and educational and work opportunities for both men and women.
