Sunday, (Nov 20) – Pray that Klang Wesley will grow in their desire to serve the Lord passionately. Pray that the Lord will guide and lead each of our people at Klang Wesley towards specific ministries. For ministries that lack workers, we pray that God will raise sufficient workers for it. Pray for the Lord’s wisdom and understanding to be upon our counselors that they may understand the different stages of life that youths are going through. Pray that the Lord will surround our youths with people who would point them to Christ. Pray that our youths will desire to draw closer to the Lord each day.

Tuesday, (Nov 22) – Pray for the holiness of God’s Church globally and locally as the Christian communion (koinonia) to constantly walk in the Spirit and not gratify the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5). Pray for the Church to uphold the importance of Sabbath Day worship because Sabbath was made for us for a grace-motivated reason. Pray for the Church to lead, guide, and encourage God’s people to live holy lives by not allowing their relationships with worldly people to corrupt and lead them away from God.

Wednesday, (Nov 23)Pray for the Nation: Pray for the newly elected prime minister and his newly appointed cabinet ministers to rule the country with the justice, righteousness, wisdom, and discernment that comes from You, Lord. Pray for the newly elected government to fulfill their GE15 manifesto promises to address issues such as rising living costs, poverty, and economic disparity, particularly among the M40 and B40 categories, reviewing highway concessions, the standard of education and healthcare systems in our system, and country resource abuse. Pray all petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority – that we may live peacefully and harmoniously in all godliness and holiness to honor Christ, our Savior and Lord.

Pray for the caregivers that He will also watch over them with His sustaining grace. Pray that healing and restoration come from God for His Name to be glorified.

Saturday (Nov 26)Prayer for the World: Pray for world peace, particularly for peace between Russia and Ukraine, as it is already long nine months since their conflict saw a major escalation in February this year when Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine. Pray for God’s intervention with His power and wisdom to guide the world leaders toward peace negotiation and agreement, because the conflict has resulted in huge human suffering, damaged the global economy and also has raised fears of danger in neighbouring countries.
