Sunday, (Mar 27) – God seeks to be in a covenant relationship with us. Pray that we will desire to remain in relationship with God. Pray for obedient hearts to the Lord. For the times whereby we may find ourselves wandering away from God, pray that God will take hold our hearts and seal it to His courts above. Pray that we will respond to God’s love by accepting and believing in the One whom He had sent for us – our Lord Jesus Christ. May this Lent continue to draw us into His presence with thanksgiving for all that Jesus had done for us.
Monday, (Mar 28) – Pray for the Church – Baptism & Reception into Membership – This will take place on the 10th of April 2022. Pray for all who would be baptized. Pray that God will continue to work in the hearts of these new believers as they a make commitment to follow Jesus. Pray for their lives to be transformed to be more like Christ in all that they do. Pray that the church be reminded of her own salvation as she witnesses the baptism. Pray also that church will embrace all those who would be brought into membership as one family in Christ.
Tuesday, (Mar 29) – Pray for wisdom to be ready to face new challenges, socially, economically and politically, when we enter into the endemic stage from April 1st. Pray that we do not lose sight of God’s Great Commission to evangelize and make disciples of all nations via acts of compassion and purposeful authenticity in all types of interactions. Pray for a renewed spirit of love for the Lord, as well as confession of our contrite hearts. Pray that throughout this Lenten season, we would experience God’s love, grace and mercy to know him more profoundly.
Wednesday, (Mar 30) – Pray for the Nation: Give thanks to our recent fair and righteous court decisions. Continue to pray to uphold our judges to be impartial, fair, strong, bold, wise and righteous, particularly in continuing cases of corruption and misappropriation of national finances. Pray that the government to issue a fairer and more reasonable guideline for allowing refugees to work in appropriate sectors and that they will encounter Christ. Pray for protection, wisdom and strength for Pastors, Church workers, medical professionals, caregivers, and front-liners who are at high risk of being exposed to the Omicron-virus in the course of their ministry and care.
Thursday, (Mar 31) – Pray for TRAC: TRAC Pastors School – Pray for all TRAC Pastors who would be attending the TRAC Pastors School from the 19th – 22nd of April 2022. Pray for journey mercies as all pastors travel to Taiping. Pray for pastors to have a good and blessed time of re-connecting with God and one-another. Pray for opportunities whereby fellow pastors may encourage, edify and minister to one another.
Friday, (Apr 1) – We give thanks to God for our loved ones and ancestors who have gone before us. We thank God for their lives and blessed time we shared with them, as well as the memories we will continue to cherish. As many people, especially Chinese, gather next week for Qing Ming, may God grant Christians opportunities to share His love and grace with their family and friends, especially those who have yet to experience the amazing grace of our Lord Jesus. Pray for the good weather and SOPs compliance wherever they gather. Pray that their hearts are always attuned to God’s heart, that they are sensitive to His guidance and wisdom while they may observe some of their loved one’s traditions and beliefs.
Saturday (Apr 2) – Pray for the World: Pray for Myanmar. Pray for God’s protection upon the citizens who are suffering from the pandemic and ongoing civil war. Pray for God’s intervention that He may bring peace and justice to the land. Pray that He will also use the international community to ensure that people’s basic human rights are protected and restored, and that urgent needs of humanitarian aid reach the destitute and needy. Pray for God’s divine protection and sustenance grace to be bestowed upon local churches and missionaries, so that they may continue to stand firm in their faith for the gospel.
