Prayer List: 8th – 9th Oct 2022

Sunday, (Oct 9) – Pray that God would give us a heart for Missions. Pray that we as a Church will reach out to the lost around us. Pray that God would raise more people to be involved with the work and ministries of the Church for the harvest is plentiful. Pray for strength and grace for all those was are already involved with church work. Pray that God would surround all those serving in their respective ministries with people who will be able to love and support.

Monday, (Oct 10)Adult Bible Class: Prayer as an Adventure with God: Pray that these Bible Study classes will draw people into a deeper relationship with God. Pray that these lessons will teach us much about who God is and who we are in the Lord. Pray for our people to have a desire to want to learn and study God’s Word. Pray that our people will not neglect to feed on God’s Word daily for His Word is the lamp unto our feet.

Tuesday, (Oct 11) – Pray for God’s vision to be upon the mission chairman, leaders, and church leaders of our church so they can effectively plan, strategize, and carry out God’s will for the mission. Pray for the outreach initiatives, those who are currently involved, and the addition of more labourers. Pray for discernment in the administration of the budget and expenses for outreach missions as well as for the effective and efficient mobilisation of our resources for God’s purpose.

Wednesday, (Oct 12) – Pray for the Nation: Pray for political stability and God’s compassion and mercy over our country to stop greater division. Pray that the current unrest won’t be used as a springboard for any egotistical, self-serving agendas to maintain power. Pray for God to restore and reconstruct our country, which has become divided and even more chaotic as a result of cheap political rhetoric.

Thursday, (Oct 13)TRAC2nd District Conference of Central District 2 will be held on October 13, 2022 at Trinity Methodist Church, PJ. Pray for all delegates representing their respective churches that would be coming together. Pray that God would help us to recognize and discern His movement in the lives of the churches as we listen to the reports that will be presented. Pray for our District Superintendent as he preside over the District Conference. Pray also for God’s protection to be upon all who would be attending the conference.

Friday, (Oct 14) – Pray for God’s protection and mercy, as the monsoon season approaches and some Asian countries are at risk. Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom upon the authorities and agencies as they prepare and mitigate the risk. Continue to pray for Pakistan that people in affected areas would receive effective humanitarian relief and have access to clean water, food, and medications. Pray for God’s protection upon them from malnutrition, infection, malaria, skin infection, and other diseases.

Saturday (Oct 15)Prayer for the World: Continue to pray for every country and every person to do their part to bring about world peace. In light of the Russia Ukraine war and the tension in East Asia, pray that God will humble the hearts of the leaders so that they will not pursue their personal triumph and escalate the destructive methods that lead to destruction, but rather they will exercise wisdom to treasure every human life and promote peace and the nation’s healthy growth. Pray for God’s intervention that His love and peace will shine through the gospel and His people.
