Introduction
We need warning if we are not growing; but we also need encouragement to persevere.
Explanation
* Don’t be discouraged because God hasn’t forgotten about you.
* Don’t be discouraged because God’s promises are secure and reliable.
* Don’t be discouraged for we have hope in Christ Jesus.
Final Word
Be hopeful in Christ for He will hold you firm and secure.

1. Have you ever felt forgotten? Share what made you feel that way?
2. Have you ever felt that God was taking too long to answer your prayer? How can you continue to press on during such times?
