A question about eternal life led to the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
Explanation
1. Jesus exposes our inability to love God and to love people.
2. Jesus gives a higher calling – to love others like Jesus.
3. Be that neighbour who would show mercy
Final Word
The question that we should ask ourselves is “How can we be a neighbour to one another?”
Reflection Question
1. Recall an experience whereby you experienced someone’s care and kindness. Give thanks to God for that person.
2. Are you able to be honest with your struggles to love one another? What are the struggles? Pray for one another
3. How can I be a neighbour to one another?
