Loving Father,
Thank you for the inestimable gift of salvation
that is given to all who trust
in the name of the Lord.
We thank You that the way
into the paradise of God
has been reopened
through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus.
Through His blood, our sins
which are past, present and future
are forgiven.
We pray that forgiveness may be a quality
that we seek to develop
so that we may show forth
the love of Christ through our lives.
In Jesus name we pray.
AMEN
Sunday, (Feb 27) – To be forgiven completely is a gift that comes to us again and again through and in Jesus. Give thanks to the Lord for the work of Jesus on the cross. Give thanks to Jesus for it is through His blood that our sins which are past, present and future are forgiven. Pray that as we ourselves have experienced God’s forgiveness, we will learn to extend forgiveness to people who have wronged us.
Monday, (Feb 28) – Pray for the Church: Pray for the young families of our church. Pray that families will consider spending time together with and in the Lord. Pray that as we approach the Lent season, parents will gather their children and speak to them about Jesus. Pray that parents will speak about God’s love and forgiveness with their children. Give thanks to the Lord for the family friendly Lent materials that were produced by the TRAC Board of Worship. Pray that we may be able to use that material in our family devotions.
Tuesday, (Mar 1) – Pray for the Nation: Pray for the government to speed up and expand the immunization programmes for children aged 5 to 11 years old that have begun in several private hospitals. Pray for wisdom and provision to the Ministry of Health as the Minister and Director-General deal with the current rise in pediatric Covid-19 patients in the hospital wards. Pray that the current high number of infections will not continue to spike further as a result of the highly transmissible Omicron surge.
Wednesday, (Mar 2) – Pray that Ash Wednesday, the opening day of Lent 40 days, may call us to reflect on our life, self-examination, self-denial, repentance, and transformed hearts. Pray that in our humanity’s frailty, we may find mercy and love for ourselves and for the frailty in others. Pray for our families that Lent will be a season of contemplative reflection on our blessings. Pray for the children in our schools will be mindful of the brevity of life and the value of dedicating their entire lives to serving others. Pray for the world’s leaders to embrace peace, justice, and humanity’s love.
Thursday, (Mar 3) – Pray for TRAC: Pray for the upcoming webinar on Biblical Theology organized by the TRAC Board of Christian Education. Pray for the speaker, Dr. Peter Lau that God may use him to teach and speak His truth to all participants. Pray that all participants will be eager to learn and that they may be able to apply what they learn into their lives. Pray for all those who would be assisting in the running of this webinar. Pray that there would not be any hiccups throughout the webinar.
Friday, (Mar 4) – Pray for migrants, refugees and asylum-seekers who are from all around the world. Pray for God’s protection upon them, especially in view of the rising numbers of covid cases. Pray that God will provide for their daily needs and keep them safe from harm such as abuse, deprivation, fear and trauma. May God bless and guide various organizations and individuals who work to protect and promote their rights and welfare. May God grant us everyone compassion to help and share the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Saturday (Mar 5) – Pray for the World. Continue to pray for Ukraine and Russia. Pray for God’s intervention so that both countries’ leaders prioritise the safety of their people and security of their countries and surrounding areas. Pray for other international leaders to remain calm and unified in their efforts to restore peace. May God’s protection, physical, mental, and emotional be upon all people, especially youngsters and the old. Pray that the churches stand firm and united in the one Spirit, and intercede for the unity and peace.

Heavenly Father,
how we praise You
that in Your grace and wisdom,
You chose to redeem the human race,
by grace through faith in the death,
burial and resurrection of Your Son,
our Savior – Jesus Christ.
Help us to trust implicitly
in Your Word of truth
and to depend on You in all things,
for You are good and gracious towards us
and Your loving-kindness endures
from one generation to another.
In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
Sunday, (Feb 20) – Pray that we as a church will seek to lead and live holy lives. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives so that we may learn to recognize the various temptations that come our way. Scripture says that no temptation has seized us except what is common to men and that God is faithful for He would not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. Pray that we will look to God for a way out so that we may endure during times of temptations.
Monday, (Feb 21) – Pray for the Church: Pray that our church will be a praying church. Pray that we will grow both in our personal prayer and as well as corporate prayer. Pray that we as a church will come to understand the importance of coming together in corporate prayers. Pray that we will indeed make time for corporate prayers. One of the ways to re-connect with one another in the church family is to come together to pray. Pray also that we may not neglect our quiet time in times of busyness.
Tuesday, (Feb 22) – Pray for the mission trip. Pray for brother Roger and Jimmy, who are travelling in Sarawak. Pray for God’s protection upon them and local pastors physically and spiritually. Pray that God will lead them to the places to visit and for the opportunities to share the gospel. May the Holy Spirit grant them peace, wisdom and sensitive hearts and enable them to interact with the people in the communities. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people to hear and receive the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wednesday, (Feb 23) – Pray for the Nation: Pray for Sabah state government ability to take drastic measures to stem the rising number of daily Covid19 cases, which have surpassed the 5,000-mark. Pray that their hospital occupancy will not be overly-stretched. Pray for the upcoming state election in Johor that could trigger GE15. Pray for right candidates of integrity and just to be voted in and for peace and stability to reign. Pray for voters to vote wisely and adhere strictly to the SOPs in place to avoid another spike of Covid19 cases. Pray for the nation’s righteous and justice system triumphs in the ongoing high-profiles cases.
Thursday, (Feb 24) – Pray for TRAC: Pray for the upcoming webinar on Biblical Theology organized by the TRAC Board of Christian Education.
Friday, (Feb 25) – Pray for an end to Covid Omicron wave to peak and to subside, as the number of cases reached a new high, surpassing 27,000 for the first time. Pray for those who are sick or in quarantine to recover quickly, not just physically, but also mentally and spiritually. Pray for God’s peace, strength, and wisdom to be upon them so that they can protect those who are vulnerable to the virus, especially the elderly or other high-risk family members. Pray for those who are facing terminal illness to find comfort, peace, and strength from God and find courage, hope and solace as they battle their illness and suffering.
Saturday (Feb 26) – Pray for the World. Pray for Ukraine and Russia. Pray for God’s protection upon people on both sides of the border. Pray for God’s intervention and wisdom upon the country leaders as well as the world leaders so that they can continue to discuss and agree on ways to maintain peace, safety and security in the surrounding areas. Pray for greater opportunities to hear the gospel, which brings God’s love, peace and hope to all mankind.
