Abba Father, as long as we are on this earth, We know adversities will come our way.
But we ask that You help us to rest in You.
We know that You are in control.
Help us to have that joy and peace in our life so we will be able to smile through any storm, confident that we will come out stronger for it.
Help us not to look at our adversities but to look directly at You.
Father, we pray that You fill us with the joy of the Lord, that overwhelming joy.
Your joy is unlike anything this world has to offer.
It brings peace, trust, and hope, and with that a rest because we know You are in control.
Your Word says in Nehemiah 8:10, Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!
We will lift our eyes to the hills, Lord, because we know from You come to my joy and peace.
